Canada we are looking at $7800 (about 5800 USD) plus tax (varies by province, in Ontario, it is 13%) so for me assuming I didn't get a deal from the store it comes in at 8814.00 (about 6530 usd)
I will wait for a couple of years and hopefully be able to get a 100R for a lot less

Americans can avoid sales tax by ordering from another state, new york...buy from Adorama, new jersey buy from bhphoto as an example. ...sadly that doesn't work here legally any store in Canada is required to collect the tax of the province of delivery (too bad or I would order everything from Alberta where it is 6% instead of the 13% here (Alberta has no provincial sales tax. given the financial issues they are having as oil tanks that is idiocy they are paying for now)
