got a 60mm f2.4 Macro ?
As a matter of fact I do, I hadn't put it on my sale list yet, I have the box, manual, all original items. it is very lightly used. Let me see what they are selling for and what shipping to midwest dirtfields costs from canada (of course that led to fuji forums and has me thinking i should take it out for a walk LBA is a serious affliction, I am never good at letting camera gear go. in the last 20 years i have sold little (though a break-in cleaned me out of a lot to start over )

I own 3 Fuji lenses plus a Fuji Zeiss 50mm macro. They are excellent lenses and I use them regularly. I wanted a LONG lens at a decent price that Fuji could not fulfill so that's why I've jumped on the Tokina 400mm 5.6 and the Tokina 100-300mm F4. Plus I'm waiting on a Pentax A 400mm 5.6 in the mail I hope to get soon.
An A 400... gotta look that one up..

So many good Taks, never had this one but it looks admirable (the 28 and 35 3.5 are both stellar)

Actually , it was the 28 . .
Sorry about that.

That 60 looks like a good one .
Do you also have the 56 ?
I don’t see many shots with that one , some from LeRolls , other than that don’t remember many .
The shots I see with it on Flickr though , I think that 56 has the magic .

Auto-what!!!????

Ha ha

I considered the 60/2.4 for ages to get something a little longer than my 35mm, then to get something a little faster at the long end than the 18-55mm. I begrudgingly acknowledged that the 50/2 would be a better all-rounder and was ready to go for that when Viltrox's star started to rise. From what I've read and seen, I can imagine you getting on well with the 60mm, though the original trio of X lenses (35/1.4, 18/2 and 60/2.4) are not as well built as later ones, though the 35mm and 18mm are optically magical and I doubt the 60mm is any different.

I love the 56 the first three lenses I bought were the 23 1.4 the 35 1.4 and the 56 1.2. I also bought the 14 2.8 which got stolen at a protest in Paris (my bad leaving bag top open )

Most of what is on my flickr with it would be live music , I have more on instagram but it isn't easy to share here

the 23 1.4

same album has a lot from the 60 macro

56 1.2

ooh cherry blossom time.... a few years back I went out with the local Pentax brigade and shot the 56 I forgot about that

@ 1.2

@ 3.2 for some reason (i needed coffee we went really early on a sunday.....

and the 23 @ 5.6 is a great landscape use lens

and the Bower/Rokinon 8.0 mm at f5.6-8 to change it up

and the vastly underappreciated 27f2.8 @ 2.8 .. particularly good value now it has dropped in price due to the updated WR version with aperture ring

you know, I've been reading reviews about the XF 60mm macro, but noticed that it's minimum focus distance is only 60cm - that's not that great for a macro lens.....

the Viltrox 56mm f1.4 focuses down that far and can be had new for the same/less money than a used XF 60...
