X-M1 and Rokkor 58mm f/1.4 (at f/4) showing my latest acquisition - MHG-XT10 grip, originally for the X-T10 but also fits my X-T20 perfectly (and I believe the X-T30 as well). These sell for around $/Ä100 new and I got this one in mint condition for around Ä30, which is less than good quality third party ones go for new. Ä100 is a hell of a price given that the grip offers neither buttons nor batteries, it's just to provide a better hold on the camera, but Ä30 is OK. It does make the camera easier to hold, though I can no longer pull the screen out from the bottom, only from the side.

That looks like it would feel much better , to use .
Those are small cameras . I tried the xt100 is it , was way too small , even for my small hands .
Thought it would feel like the Pentax me from the looks of it ...

Iím still waiting for the digital that really feels like a Pentax slr film camera .

More skate with the X-T3 + XF 35/2 with post in Darktable 3 ... this time on the incline of the plaza outside the indoor market.

( FYI - I just received my new Viltrox 56/1.4 in XF, so some first images will be coming soon. No way I could justify the Fuji 56/1.2 ... way too pricey for me. )

I couldn't use my XE3 without the grip , I have a grip even on the GFX50R to make it more balanced (I don't have one on the X100T but I do have a half case fills the same function that way. the other great thing about most grips is they act as an arca swiss plate (I converted all my tripod heads to Arca swiss for consistency)

some springs i see these holes, poked into the grass in my lawn ( lots of debris still as i haven't raked there yet ) i have yet to see the

culprit, but suspect it could be robins, which have arrived a few days ago from wherever they were wintering.

you think that is the cause ? they are all over, these little pecked holes.

Fantastic shots, that's some clear separation of the skaters from the background. Something therapeutic about photographing skaters, they're almost always happy to just let you do your thing whilst they do theirs.

Xe1, m40/ 2.8

I wonder if thatís the most narrow focusing ring out there ... I like it. Itís an under-rated lens.

it is a great little lens, Pancakes are frequently under-rated for some reason. the original version of the Fuji XF27 f2.8 was neglected by many. it was a lowly kit lens with the original pro. I love it, the perfect little lens for the Xpro FOV is the same as using the Pentax 43 on ff (or marginally tighter than the 40). On the GFX I love the 50mm "pancake" it to is the 40mm or so FOV, If I bought a K1 the 43 might well be glued to it , an MX with the M40 is a lovely setup (my MX was sold and the m40 was stolen )

GF50 f3.5 is considered a Pancake. In medium format it is but on ff or smaller, it would be large

I will say paired with the 50R it is a perfect little setup. I will reach for this more than any of the other options except perhaps the GF 30 (because i like the FOV for landscape and for architecture it is wide enough to allow correction for straight lines)
.
