I prefer the east coast about 2-3 hours north of Miami. Really beautiful areas around me. Generally decent people if you stay far from Miami. I hate the cold so Florida is good for me and plenty of models to work with.

I kind of liked the central part I drove through and around , horse farms , little towns , a nice country feel to some of it .
Coast is of course nice , I’d like to see st Augustine some time too .

thank you...

that SLR is a flea-market beater; I bought it because it was attached to a CZJ Tessar that was in similar condition....

this particular shot was after I had made a selfie for the Single In Challenge:

Never used one of those top viewfinder cameras , I bet it would be kind of different moving the camera around .

I found a M42 adapter that seems to allow Fujinon lenses with the tab to be used. It has a ridge on the outer face of the M42 ring and a ridge inside to push the aperture pin.

Fikaz M42-FX Lens Mount Adapter Ring Aluminum Alloy Compatible with Pentax Praktica Zenit M42 Screw Mount Lens to Fuji X-A1/X-A2/X-A3/X-E1/X-E2/X-E3/X-M1/X-Pro1/X-Pro2/X-/X-T1/X-T10/X-T20/X-T2/X10/X20 - Walmart.com - Walmart.com

The only other adapter I had that would work was the Konica Praktica Lens Mount Adapter II mounted on a K/AR adapter, but that didn't have anything to push the aperture pin.

my K&F adapter has the ridge/shelf on the inside of the adapter for M42 lenses, but Fujinon M42 lenses with that tab on the mount would still need that tab removed...

I take it that you are loath to remove that tab?

It's a shot looking up into an elevator shaft, an old one installed in the stairwell long after the building was constructed.

I find Fujifilm gear is particularly good at these moody night shots.
