Some DA 40mm shots from Paris last week. All taken on Fujifilm X-M1.

I love the Paris photos, and can't wait to get back. This summer will be in the Southwest...

Here are a few from the weekend in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee with the X100.

Nice Pipevine Swallowtail, but I think the last of Porter's Creek is my favorite--with its big "graybacks" (i.e. boulders) it's one of the prettiest flows in the Smokies. Otherwise, I will have to say that x100 makes a bit too much sense--you'll have to carry my Uni-loc and Manfrotto 410 to the top of the hill next time to get the full experience.

Hopefully not in a Corvair... Just kidding. Nice photograph. Only see cars like that on the Left Coast. I like the red and blue texture in the back with the green and things happening in front, and then that arresting car. Good trip around the block! The X100 is good for a spin any time.

Haha
This was one of the best looking Corvairs I have seen.

I've been using my K3 a bit the last few days and after using the X-M1 a lot over the previous few months I find the output from the K3 increasingly sub-standard in comparison

I think I'll need to put some effort into tweaking the jpegs to see how close I can get them to the Fujifilm's.

I like the matching truck and planters. Great colors and range in this.

I picked up my poor neglected XE-1 today. I put the even more neglected Fuji 14mm on it and made a point of photographing wide and close. I should do this more often - I forget what a fine lens the 14mm is, and why I sold my SMC 15mm.

Some very nice shots! Hey, I see you are using Silkypix - colours look great.

Just curious about your sharpening settings, if you are keen to share. I am having more luck that with LR (but was lazy with the shots I just posted). If I try and sharpen too much in Silkypix, I get a lot of blocky artefacts. Your shots don`t seem to show this, and I am curious if you have better settings and/or understand the program better.

For Silkypix, I am getting the best results (not-blocky) using:
Outline Emphasis: 7
Detail Emphasis: 75
False Outline Control: 0
(NR set off, except colour)
Demosaic: 95
