For my Fuji shots I use RAW FILE CONVERTER EX 2.0 powered by Silkypix, which is the "official" Fuji software. As Pentax do, they work with Silkypix to produce it but the software in design is quite different (and harder to use) than the Pentax version. Still, it seems to work OK. It's very rare for me to touch sharpening settings on any of my digital cameras, I leave them on default 99.99% of the time. I only play with sharpening when I'm dealing with scanned film negatives.
Sorry,I should have made it clearer - I am also using the "bundled" RFC EX 2.0. In fact I am also using the panasonic version of the bundled silkypix product as well (although LR plays nice with those RAW files). I haven't played with the Pentax version in quite some time. However, since LR is OK with both of these, there is no need to.
There is definitely a learning curve....
