So far I really like the X-T3 with the battery grip and the Fujifilm 90mm f2. The 56mm is also a nice lens but a bit overpriced IMO plus kind of slow AF and not as sharp as I would like.

Your portraiture is great. Including colors and backgrounds , bokeh , I notice it all ...
I was thinking of an adapter with the fa 77. And maybe others

Have you tried that, manual , with the x-t ‘s ?

I have thought about using the FA 77 and the FA 85 on the X-T3. Might eventually get an adapter.

I appreciate the kind words.

Got bored this afternoon, so I climbed up into the attic to fetch a few photo things ... some 16mm cinema projection lenses.

Here, first efforts with an Angťnieux F50 1:1.5 mounted in a cheap Chinese extension tube rig on the X-E1 ... not perfect yet, but functional.

I have the x-pro 1 , too , all adapted lenses.

I find the camera fun
However the black and white images seem not to give me the real blacks Xt1 is better,
Yet something nice about the images in general from the x pro 1

Any solution to that ( in camera I mean ) To getter more black and white vs gray and white ?

Anyone know what Iím talking about ?

Iím not big on post processing.
Just not fun

I don't know what the available settings are in that camera, but my Fuji cameras allow for custom adjustments of colour, highlight and shadow tones, with the last two being instead of the "contrast" setting you'd find on most other cameras. I remember that I have the colour set to -1 but not sure what I have the highlight and shadow settings at. To make dark greys black, increase the shadow tone, assuming you have that option.
