These are good shots , Jmac too gets nice images from that lens. And, is that the cathedral that burned , couple years ago ? Are they restoring it ? I have not heard .

I am considering adding a used X body to my collection,
Check this out.

If I was "experimenting" with Fuji, this would be a good start. As I mentioned B4,the XE-2s has a much better EVF and is worth the extra $s.Also ClassicChrome was added in a firmware update to the original filmSims.

If shooting raw the freeby CaptureOne light for Fuji is easy to use.Avoid earlier lightroom versions, its not tuned in for any Xtrans.

X-t1, Meyer , something or other , gorlitz... 50/1.8

Surfar, I tried this x-e2 , with the update. Against the e1, for me the e1 had the superior images. But it’s viewfinder is basic, have to use focus peaking with it . Manual focusing .

But what I wanted to say is ... Fujifilm : make an x-e4 or 5 or whatever , with the e1 sensor, same body as e1, e2 . But with the x-t3 evf ...

If I keep saying this, repeating it , you think they’ll make me one ?

Some prefer the first edition Xtrans and say its "more filmic".

No! They wont make you one.You have to make it yourself!....But I'll help.Just buy one of these that lines up with the lcd.Not sure if the canon one will.maybe the Sony model?

You mean the 18mm f/2?

It gets some negative reviews online but I really have no idea why, it's a fantastic little performer. I'd say it's biggest downside is that it lacks the pleasant feel to using it, similar to the 35/1.4. Optically it's excellent, lovely and compact.

I think a lot of people don't take to it, or decide to go with one of the kit zooms for that focal length, as it's very easy to find used for a good price. The Pentax DA 21mm is similar in that respect.

Here's a recent one from the 35/1.4.

On a separate note, it seems the Viltrox 56mm f/1.4 lens for Fujifilm will be available by the end of the month. I've seen one review on YT and he praised it. The aperture ring isn't clicky, which is a disappointment, but something I could live with. I'll wait to see if and when the Tokina version appears and compares.

...

Well, that was a good typo error ... it's the 16mm f/2.8 ... sorry about that. Not the 18mm ... stupid fingers!
