I didn't realise there were ones without clicks but it makes sense - you can use old lenses for video without de-clicking the lenses themselves, just stop the aperture ring down to minimum and control the aperture through the adapter.
You don't really need the clicks, in fact without clicks you're not limited to the seven or eight aperture values that the clicks leave you with, but you run the risk of moving the ring and changing the aperture by accident.
Another one from me from Segovia the other night. I love being able to take hand-held shots like this after dark - f/2 and "only" ISO 1250 with the 35mm f/1.4.
