Question to Sinister:
Are those images taken with Sony or Fujifilm?
bit confused...
All shots here taken with Fuji - EXIFs are with FlickR

I own the Sony RX 100 and find the reds produced by it are much more accurate (deeper) in sunlight than my Fuji X-T1 but the Fuji is much better with all the rest of the colors. Do you find the same?
I actually never monitored the reds.... more the general appearance and in favour of Fuji. Though I now found a set of LR presets which I am happy with.

Another 15-45

How much input do you have to give these models for posing or do they pretty much know what they want?[COLOR="Silver"]
Totally depends on the shoot and the model. Sometimes the models have very specific looks and concepts they want. Other times they want me to make all the decisions. In general it's usually a combination of the two.

What camera bag and lenses do you typically take on a model shoot?

The bag is not important. I have a few that I use. As far as lenses I have the 56mm f1.2 and the 90mm f2 for pics. Sometimes the 50mm f2 for video.

I recently bought a X-T1 + 27mm f/2.8 for an alldays use.
It's a little bit different from my Pentax K1, but with some practice it become easier !

I'm considering dipping my toes in to the X system, does anyone here still use a Pentax K to X adapter and do you like it? I'm particularly interested in one that allows for manual control of aperture on lenses without a aperture ring.

I have both types - with and without control over aperture. The one without aperture control is better built and I prefer it for old manual lenses, but the one with aperture control works very well. Mine are both "K&F Concept" brand, which is my preferred brand for adapters (I have a couple of others for other mounts). They cost a bit more than the cheapest Chinese ones but they're worth it.

Here's a link to a K&F Concept one with aperture control, but this is not the same model as I have. It looks like it offers click-less control, rather than the seven or eight different click-stops that mine has:

K&F Concept adapter for Pentax DA PK mount lens to Fujifilm X-Pro2 M1 T20 KF?DAX 6936069206975 | eBay

I've used DA limited lenses on my X-M1 and it's a combination which works very well indeed, due to the small size of the lenses and the decently smooth focusing action. In fact I used the X-M1 for a couple of years purely with adapted lenses before starting to buy some Fujifilm lenses (which I've found to be excellent). These days I use an X-T20 but the experience of shooting manual lenses is very similar and I thoroughly recommend the Fujifilm cameras for the purpose - they work better than Pentax DSLRs, providing auto-exposure and good focus peaking. The X system cameras have fantastic image quality and what started as a second camera to have something lighter than my K-3 has developed into a second system which I use as much as my digital Pentax stuff.

Here's a recent shot from the X-T20 and 35mm f/1.4. It was taken wide open but I should have stopped down a bit.
