Neuse - how’s that 19mm lens feel to use — lines are straight , impressive
Important to me as much how a lens feels as its other attributes ,
Ya folla ?
The Vivitar is none too sharp wide open but much better stopped down. As you noted, not much distortion. I like the colors that you get from old film-era lenses like this one. Flares badly when pointed into the sun. Focus ring turns backwards for someone used to a Takumar. Mine is Nikon mount adapted to Fuji, so it has the aperture ears, which I find a never-ending source of amusement - sort of a steam punk feature. Personally, for wide-angle work, I prefer the Vivitar to the kit 16-50 that came with the camera. I like the focus control with the manual lens, and the colors.
One more thing. It looks rad on an X-T20.
