Jmac-
Is that the fuji 35 mm? Or another ?

Neuse - how’s that 19mm lens feel to use — lines are straight , impressive
Important to me as much how a lens feels as its other attributes ,

Ya folla ?

That's the Fujinon 35mm f/1.4, a truly great lens with both sharpness and character, a combination that's hard to achieve.

I was a bit shocked by that last bit as I read it in Spanish initially.

The Vivitar is none too sharp wide open but much better stopped down. As you noted, not much distortion. I like the colors that you get from old film-era lenses like this one. Flares badly when pointed into the sun. Focus ring turns backwards for someone used to a Takumar. Mine is Nikon mount adapted to Fuji, so it has the aperture ears, which I find a never-ending source of amusement - sort of a steam punk feature. Personally, for wide-angle work, I prefer the Vivitar to the kit 16-50 that came with the camera. I like the focus control with the manual lens, and the colors.

One more thing. It looks rad on an X-T20.

Yes. Along with my DA 35mm Limited it's one of my favourite lenses. If I go out with the X-T20 and just one lens it's almost always that one.

Here are a couple from the 18mm f/2 that I took to the park yesterday. This is one of those lenses that, every time I use it, I'm reminded how good it is and that I should use it more often, but something longer almost always gets picked.
