And is that a 56mm shot , LeRolls ?
I am interested in the 50 f1 if it has good AF for video too.

Yes that shot was with the 56.

The effect from that shot is far from soft.

I don’t know , that 56 seems a tad bit more organic somehow, I think I’d like that lens .

I do like the rendering of the 56 quite a bit but the performance is nothing compared to the 90. The 56 feels like a dinosaur in comparison plus it is not weather sealed but I do like to use it when it comes to low light situations.

Thanks.

I’ve got another Helios that renders differently than this one. I think they vary widely in quality. Luckily they are pretty cheap.

This particular lens is one of my favorites though. I’ve had it for a while now and gotten some of my personal favorite pictures with it.

I just purchased a new Fujifilm X-T3 (silver) ... so on our day trip to Chambord, I took a few images with the Pentax-110 Auto 18mm that I home-made altered towards being a pan focal lens. (x-post)

Very nice. Amazing that little old lens.

What did you have before the x-t3 viewfinder (with attached camera ) , JP ?

Can see a difference in the rendering of the two lenses, LeRolls .. it’s subtle . but there. At least , seems so to me,

Hi, my progression into Fuji X has been the following: a used X-E1 from my local B&M store, then a used X-E2 and then a used X-100s ... I really like the feel and size of the new X-T3. I was considering a X-T30, but with my large hands, it felt a bit "lost" and too small.

I have two Fuji shooting friends, one in a X-T2 and another in a X-T3 after having upgraded from a X-T2. He says that he sees no real difference between the 24MP sensor of old X-T2 and the 26MP sensor of the newer X-T3.

Here's what my home-made pan focal 18 mm Pentax-110 Auto looks like on the X-T3.

Pretty cute set-up , JP .

I bought a set of JIS screwdrivers, but I need some with larger handles ... Some of the screws are not budging... want to see about fixing ( or it might be throwing out the window ) .... some of these good old but hurting lenses...

Oh ..
That panorama is a good shot .
