I went back to my mirrorless roots and took the X-M1 and adapted Minolta 50mm f/1.7 out for some use the other day.

Glacial rocks and boulders ... a river of rocks ?
Evidence of a different earth ? Martin Stu .

I can demonstrate
Г (G) - E (Е) - Л (L) - И (I) - O (О) - C (S)... GELIOS is pronounced almost (absolutely) in the same way as HELIOS, only instead of the sound H - sound G, as in the word Glinda.

like me, this girl also liked this place and she decided to draw a picture here... and I took this photo...

X-pro1, super multi coated takumar 24/ 3.5

My house is way out there in the middle through the trees ... see it ...

And I tried using the optical viewfinder on the x-pro..
It would take me a bit to using that. I never do .
There’s a big honking mass of lens right in the middle of the scene , looking through that ...
plus , you gotta guess at what the settings will produce ...

It must be for real purists.
Yes ? No ?

People here built stone walls , to clear fields of boulders and rocks ,
Somewhere from film days , I have a picture of a wooden rock-pulling winch ‘machine’ - a huge dinosaur-like structure on wooden spoked wheels , used to move large rocks , with oxen or horses... out of the fields ,

This is a whole subject of its own , rocks ....
( and I’m sure new H1, pbancr, has a few stone walls in her area . )

yes, it's a river of rocks... this mudflow descended from the mountains in the form of a river, imagine what a roar it was ...

Well, now Glacial rocks and boulders ... 10-12 thousand years ago, the glacier melted, broke and moved these rocks and boulders:

Yes! Lots of stone walls here...like in our back yard!

But here’s a photo of a great blue heron down at the river today...

X-E1 + XF 18-55. Think I need to invest in a longer range lens!

30 second time exposure from the front window of my apartment. Lightning flashes are illuminating the clouds, the foliage is moving in the wind. X-T20, Vivitar 19mm f/3.8.

These are within a couple miles of where I am .

There’s a certain purplish reddish bluish cast to parts of images with this lens , I guess the copy , or maybe they’re prone to this . These are at f5.6 or 8 . I think ...
