I'm just used to using my DSLR (K-3, K-5 IIs, K-S1) which gives a focus confirmation when focus is achieved....

no worries - I'll figure it out....

it is kind of nice to have that on the dslr's , i know.
the x-pro 1 's thumbwheel is much nicer to push in and magnify view , vs the x-t1 ( maybe x-t2 's ? ) focus assist button. on that camera it is just right there , perfect , to push .
anyway , i just find leaving the standard view on the evf , works well - for me .

you like the evf ?

I do like the EVF - it was one of my biggest concerns going into this purchase, but it doesn't seem to be an issue...

over the weekend, I plan on experimenting with the focus aids built into the X-T2 and see what's what....

thank you - first time for both the camera and the lens, I'm happy with them....

I may have to stop following this thread. I think you adapters could wind up costing me money ;-)

No need to be sorry.... I think I can resist the temptation.
Have the marital legal fees that would come along with a new camera purchase as a deterrent :-)
I'm already shooting two camera systems, a third would just be spoiled at that point.

I do look forward to all the goodness you post with the XT2 and your great vintage glass collection.

thank you - to fund this camera, I have been selling off some of my less-used equipment, so the marital fees were paid...

That lens does a great job.

Are you using film sims or raw?
