I am definitely trying to dial in the in camera settings and then working on being more conscientious about nailing all of the other parameters (especially exposure). I would LOVE to not have to post process! My initial attempts were less than ideal for the in camera settings.
you will get it

Just a few quick pics from my first time shooting with the XT3. I love USING the camera. The iso, aperture, and exposure compensation dials are awesome! I did have some issues with focus points and need to figure that out. Also, the post-processing issues are real with Fuji .RAF! I thought it was an overblown issue, but I definitely will NOT be processing the files in Lightroom. I downloaded the C1 Fuji Express software and that seems to work the best. I did also try out iridient x converter but wasn't pleased with those results either. So, looks like I will be learning the C1 system until/if Adobe ever fixes their support, which is a shame to me.
Also have an XT3 and feel the same way. My old version of Lightroom 5.7 will also not process RAF files. I have used the Adobe DNG converter which is free which will handle the RAF files and convert them to DNG as I do not wish to pay Adobe every month for the CC version of Lightroom, which has RAF support.

Having been a long time Pentax user and self confessed expert I thought we all had to shoot RAW all the time. But, having read this forum I have started to use the Fuji jpeg files. I started by shooting RAW plus jpeg and was impressed with the jpegs. I am now moving towards shooting jpeg only.

It`s such a flexible jpeg system on the Fuji`s, not only with the default settings but there are so many variations available, great fun to try out the different settings and recipes available on line.
Go on.....you know you want to.

I have a feeling they will release the X-H2 around April. Some are speculating a new 42 MP sensor and improved IBIS. I've been getting more paid gigs than usual as of late so I may splurge and pick one up even though I am more than satisfied with both my X-T3 and X-T30. If the IBIS is really good I may start doing more handheld videos on my shoots. Thinking about the new 50mm f1 as well.

The
latest announced crop $ony sensor is 32ish mp,During the Fuji Summits they have mentioned a couple of times that their lenses are designed to resolve around 32mp.The Ibis in XH-1 is basic compared to the Ibis in XT4/XS1,so it definitely will be enhanced from the first edition.
I'd hazzard a guess that the H2 is probably undergoing testing now.

I'd be more than happy with 32mp. As long as it's a new sensor with improved IQ. My dream would be to have one body to handle both pictures and usable handheld video for BTS clips to be used as promo material for use on IG and possibly YouTube. I currently use the X-T3 for my pics and the X-T30 on a Weebil Lab stabilizer for video. Not a bad combination for sure but would love to streamline the kit a bit more and being able to switch from pics to video without skipping a beat and with minimal compromise would be quite nice. Plus as much as I like the X-T3 I'm pretty sure I would prefer the ergonomics of the X-H2. I still plan to keep the X-T3 and X-T30 as backups.
