This is good , especially like the area around the collar, for some reason.

Nothing too exciting.
Trying to make myself shoot everyday though and people have encouraged me to try to use the Jpegs more so outside of a slight crop, this is straight out of the camera.
Nice. You're experimenting . That's fun

Thanks, Glinda - I'm satisfied with the picture even though I find a lot to fault - it's oversaturated, the structures on top of the upper works disappear into the sky, there is too much empty parking lot in the foreground - but what I see in it, and maybe you too, is the clear, warm, bright, almost glaring sun that says "Florida" to all of us stuck in the gray rain or snow of winter.

So what's up with this - North State Aviation staff working on a United 757 late on a Sunday afternoon - North State almost never works Sundays. Several planes have been in long-term storage here due to the downturn in airline traffic. Is this one getting prepped to go back to work? Maybe. The Wall Street Journal reports that United is gearing up for Covid vaccine shipments

.
Excellent light . Nice.

You have some great dogs.

We are starting to look for another one ourselves. We have been dogless for three years now.

HI Pepperberry Farm - how are you liking the transition from K3 to XT2? (saw it on the marketplace) With the added grip are you missing anything from the ergonomics of the pentax dlsrs?

I am hobbyist, and interested in the jpg quality simplicity of the fuji system. Reserving raf files for more specific situations. Enjoy the K3 + 50-135mm combo, but it is just piling up with dngs recently. Enjoy editing but other priorities are taking my time these days.

it's quite the transition for me - there are a couple of things that I miss, going from the K-3 to the X-T2:

the OVF vs EVF - the optical viewfinder is always 'on'; I never have to switch it on to have a quick look through the lens

the top LCD - a quick glance at the top of the camera body tells me everything I need to know about the camera's settings

SR (or IBIS) - I shoot almost exclusively in available light (natural or not) and find that the K-3's SR works quite well....

ergonomically, the Fuji is much lighter and is a breeze to carry around, but the battery life is about half what I get from the K-3....

I have two K-3 bodies (which is why one of them is for sale) and I am intending to keep one for quite a while for all my AF Pentax lenses...
