Question: not sure which other fujis have this front button that can be used for various function;
Anyone found a good use for it —- I have to disable it , because I hit it and it just messes things up if not , anyone found a use for it ? ( round little button )
And taking these pics I noticed how dusty the 28 is , some is inside , most though needs dusting off.... bad.

X-pro1 , Meyer 50/ 2

it is a Function button you can assign what it does in the menu. on the XT1 go to settings menu 2 -Button dial Settings-Function Stetting and choose what you want it to do. (it is a long list including nothing)

Thanks, I kinda knew that ... just wondered why anyone would use it ,,, as my fingers will hit it , right at the wrong time ,, so I have it set to off.

Just curious as to whether others use that particular button

Fuji X-H1 taken with the Tokina AT-X SD 100-300mm F4

If only I had used a newer lens like the Pentax HD DA 55-300mm this picture would have looked so much better rather than the "garbage" shot I'm stuck with from this old POS legacy glass.

Russel Ord is a surf photographer who pushes the limits.

Ive probably posted some of his stuff in here and definitely in the Surfing thread.

Here he talks about the GFX 100s but he uses X series as well.

Say it isn't so.......

I own 3 Fuji lenses plus a Fuji Zeiss 50mm macro. They are excellent lenses and I use them regularly. I wanted a LONG lens at a decent price that Fuji could not fulfill so that's why I've jumped on the Tokina 400mm 5.6 and the Tokina 100-300mm F4. Plus I'm waiting on a Pentax A 400mm 5.6 in the mail I hope to get soon.

long lens Fujis are so pricey, I would love the 200 with the 1.4 it comes with but can't spare any more legs and arms the GFX got them all

I am considering an FA 645 150-300mm F5.6 because it can be had for so inexpensively from japan (last i looked i could get one for $450 canadian delivered... the adapter for the gfx costs that much but i could adapt to X as well and get dual purpose functional lens long enough on the XH1 to get birds and on the gfx i could crop pretty severely as well. ...
maybe if i can get @pepperberryfarm to buy a couple of my unused Fuji AF lenses....
