Fuji X-H1 with Pentax A 400mm F5.6
I finally found the Fuji 100-400mm killer. No need to spend $1,899 when I can get the same results with my $260 Pentax 400mm Prime lens

These will look even better in full sunlight.

Are you using a tripod, I’m just wondering .
I know I’ll never be able to get an $1899.00 lens , for sure ...

( and didn’t get it to the next page on purpose.... )

If you look at the two people walking in the background of the second picture, do you see that their feet are off the ground in unison. Love that lens.

Yea but only because it's convenient taking photo's through my dining room window. When I'm out and about I'll use my car window rolled down about 2/3rds and place a towel on the edge of the window and rest the lens on there taking photo's of whatever interests me. I'm sure it would do well handheld as well since I like to shoot in bright sunlight when I can at F11 with shutter speed at least 1000.

The Fuji 35/1.4 is my most used lens. I find I don't have to work so hard as I did with the Pentax FA31mm to get a good photo. One of the reasons why I switched to Fuji from Pentax
I know that feeling, though I've never used the 31mm, you could substitute in almost any lens there. The Fujifilm system helps you get great photos while at the same time putting you in control.

I've heard Spain is one of the best countries to retire to. Southern Spain near Marbella.
I wouldn't know about that, I'm at least two-and-a-half decades away from retirement myself. Living in the south of Spain I imagine being very close to my idea of hell on earth. Give me a green mountain by the sea and some rain any day.

LOL. Good to know that Southern Spain isn't all it's cracked up to be.
