I use my m42 takumars and my old Bronica ETR lenses alongside my 4 gfx lenses .
Are there any image circle problems using slr lenses ? With the medium format ? Maybe since they are full frame lenses anyway , is not a huge difference ?

Interesting . Always new stuff to learn .

Are you serious? yeah i'll jsut get any old film era nikor lens and just pop it onto my new 2021 Fujifilm X-S10 its not going to work like that.
How do you like that x-s10 ?
If you don’t mind (or even prefer , as some do ) (me) manual focusing ,
use of old lenses is great .
I love it .

Those mamiya lenses are excellent , especially smooth focusing . I’ve found , on fifties anyway .

Sorry I do not have a Fujifilm X-S10 yet it is the model I have been looking at that is very well reviewed and recommended that is quality but at a decent price.

The longer lenses like 105 are ok a little soft at edge but no serious vignette. The wider lenses if they vignette there is a 35mm mode that allows use

Well it won't have auto-focus but apart from that it'll work fine. I've used an AF Nikkor 50/1.8 on my Fujifilm X-T20 and it's one of the sharpest fast fifties wide open that I've ever tried.

You use k mount lenses on the gfx ? Or m42 ? That format .. ( not that I’ll be getting a medium format any time soon , only because of the cost . )
Yes. The image circle of some film lenses is big enough though it'll vary a lot from lens to lens, there'll be more vignetting and maybe loss of sharpness in the corners.

I sold an old Pentax prime to someone a few months ago and he pulled out a MF Fujifilm that he'd gotten for a decent price but didn't have money for any native lenses so he was shooting old Pentax lenses on it.

I have seen some good prices on the 150-300 fa 645 lens and am considering it for the gfx for tripod based landscapes etc I have seen some good results from it

Why I didn’t buy more manual lenses of any type a few years ago .... or medium format lenses too... for someday..

Also , anyone know where to have a Nikon non ais or ais lens serviced ?
I know eric works on only Pentax .

I’ve tried to take some of these lenses apart and fix them myself , but don’t have the skill for it . They end up worse than before.

good morning, Bart....

not haze, but severely damaged:

this is junk-shop find; it was attached to a beat up Praktica FX camera that I thought would look nice on a shelf.....

well, one thing leads to another and the Tessar ended up on a working camera.....

I decided that the scratches and haze and everything else looks better in monochrome, also....
