Originally posted by eddie1960 Playing some catchup here, Nice to see all the great shots and the explosion of flowers. I've been uninspired lately, just getting tired of the last 6+ months of lockdown in Toronto, and the city has clearcut my favourite section along the river in preparation for a major closure as part of a project returning the area to a more natural flow that will have it closed for a year
I am teetering on the edge of buying the x100V and selling My X100T and XE3 to pay for it ,..... I will need to find a different walk close to home to use it ( at least with spring here there are more people out - good and bad i guess since we have had a hard time with Covid recently to the level of needing a field hospital to add beds staffed by the army to deal with the ICU overflow that is stable enough to be in recovery space
Hopefully, as the vaccine rate increases and numbers come down we can start opening again in June, I do have a post-processing backlog so should get some done this weekend

Meanwhile here is one from a night walk with the GFX50r and the GF45-100 f4
Unless you really need the compactness, an X-E3 plus 23/2 will probably serve you better than an X-100V, and you can change the lens.
I hear you about the inspiration. I've photographed little other than flowers and street scenes near my home for months now. Most restrictions here are now lifted but the kids and household tasks while I'm on paternity leave keep almost all my time occupied. I did get out for an hour on my own (!!!!) yesterday afternoon with the K-3 and 20-40mm Limited - no great photographs but it was so relaxing and enjoyable.
