New Fuji 35mm f/2 x-mount lens

Fujifilm have announced a slower, cheaper standard prime for their x-mount lenses - the 35mm f/2 WR. This may be my first and only AF Fuji lens for my little X-M1. I can't wait

I found these images which show the quality wide open - looks very good.

That looks really good. I have to say... Fuji has developed a very interesting camera system, possibly the only crop format that I find very interesting apart from Pentax. Currently, the prices for the primes however have been prohibitive, but this lens looks like it could be affordable. But I love the FA43, DA21,DA15 and the DA70 too much to jump ship, and I really, really, don't have any use for a second body...

Hmmm. I had been looking for a weather-resistant kit that was also small enough to carry around with me in my purse during the winter. None of the Pentax WR lenses are particularly small, so I might have to think about picking up an old Fuji body for this. I wonder how the weather sealing compares to Pentax, though-- if I'm getting something to take out with me in bad weather I really don't want to have to worry about it....

Ha. The only weather-sealed body looks to be $1400, so...that isn't happening!
