Sony A6000 Shots

I visited an abandoned and sealed factory and made a Panorama by holdng my A6000 with Ziese 55mm/1.8 on a 67" Monopod through a broken window. My original file was over 25000 x 5000 pixels Click here if you want to see huge pic and crash your computer or click image below for safer size

Works well. No obvious stitching joins. But all those horizontal and vertical lines make life easy for pano software.
Was this a Sony in-built pano mode JPEG, or something stitched out of camera?

These are all taken with 1.8/55mm Zeiss on Chinese extension macro tubes. Camera controlled by smartphone with playmemories app. They were PPed from Jpegs

Been working on this Cuba set, post-processing is done by me, but none of the photos were taken by me.

I lent an A6000 with FE 2/28 to a friend for his trip to Cuba with his daughter. He'd never used a "real" camera before and had literally 90 seconds training with the thing before he left. I set the thing up in Program mode and wide AF, auto iso limited to max 800.

Here's the results . . . .

I've rarely used the A6000, but with the FE 2/28 giving a 42mm equivalent focal length and with its super quick AF, superb image quality, I consider this an affordable alternative to the RX1 and Leica Q. Honestly, it's a great travel set up. Helium light and tiny.

He'd never used a camera before, well, apart from one of those telephone based cameras.
