Quick and Dirty Close-Up with Panasonic LX100

A close-up of a model of a Porsche 550 my older daughter bought for me in the fall; I was fiddling with the close-focusing gizmo on my new LX100.

Quick - because I leaned against a bookcase to take the shot without any cumbersome stuff like tripods. I also took no pains to line up the camera with the model.

Dirty - because, this little 550 needed a dusting badly, a task I now perform assiduously every other day.

When I saw the photo, I said to myself "How is that a closeup, it's a car!" then I read the post

Thanks much for the kind comment. In a couple of weeks, I'll be pointing this little camera at full-sized cars at the upcoming Houston Auto Show - just the sort of venue in which I prefer using a small, convenient camera over lugging around my K-3 and two or three lenses.
