I love them both for the same reason: they represent what happens to a product when it is refined over multiple generations to near perfection. They feel and operate very differently, but are equally amazing to use.
Yeah, that is sort of cheating a bit. My Ricoh is from a time when Pentax and Ricoh were rivals in the same market, and Ricoh had just followed Pentax into K-mount territory. "Those were the days, my friend, we thought they'd never end..."
