With frame rates exceeding 60/second and up to 120, I think video is just about obsolete, at least for short bursts. Post-processing and storage are going to be a nightmare.

I spent some time on the site and also with various online opinions and came up with the following short list of comments:
  • The basic specs are impressive
  • The concept is probably sound, assuming:
    • Data/control bus is robust/future-proof
    • Module fit allows for high structural integrity and reasonable environmental resistance
    • Everything works to industry standard
  • Not clear what lens functions are supported
  • Not clean what functions are supported via the handle and/or control links
  • No evidence of tethering/control software in the pipeline to take advantage of the control link
  • AF with EF and MFT mounts?
  • Tripod support strategy not clear...no illustrations show the undersides of any modules or assembled cameras
  • No indication of prototype or proof of concept work

For comparison and to give perspective on the challenges bringing a product de novo to market, see:

https://www.apertus.org/

...and specifically the Axiom Gamma modularity concept...

What lens systems are supported? Isn't that a key question to answer for prospective buyers?

I thought for a moment there was a typo in the subject line, and you meant... the Kraft Camera.
