Nikon and Canon meet the Hydraulic Press Channel

On YouTube there is this Hydraulic Press Channel from Eastern Europe somewhere, where they use a Hydraulic Press to "press" whatever. Well, you get the idea. They have been doing this for years and pull something like 500K to 1M views per video.

... and then they moved on to some GoPros...

Well, that's what we usually get at the end of every review, useless data saying Nikon was somewhat better than Canon. Not sure if this is irony or sarcasm, but it's bursting. Literally.

It's impressive how, thanks to YouTube, people can make good money out of doing stuff like the Hydraulic Press channel, the 'Will it Blend' channel, etc:

Each has about 1 million subscribers, and must pull in some decent Google ad income.

That was the first I had heard of the You Blend it - too funny. I thought that you had to watch an ad first in order for the channel to make any ad income?

I am not sure exactly how YouTube content developers get income from Google ads. But it's ad clicks, affiliate deals sometimes, and video ad views that basically feed the beast.

BTW, here's another channel similar to 'Hydraulic Press' and 'Will it Blend': the 'What's Inside' YouTube channel, which has 3.2 million [!] subscribers. Which generates enough revenue to fund the channel owners various trips around the world etc.
