If someday (mostly "when" rather than "if") MF get IBIS and a affordable price maybe, only maybe i could buy one camera in some decades... I still remember the small workshop i went, all Canikon photogs with kit lenses struggling to get a focused image of a still subjetc under 1/10.

We still don't know how fast it operates and how quick the AF is. I didn't think the 50MP medium format sensor supported PDAF on sensor which means the Fuji GFX will be slow to focus in all but great light. I maybe wrong. This may be a new Sony 50MP Sony sensor that does support PDAF and it might have AF as fast as the X-T2. If the camera is fast it could give the 645z a run for its money. We will see how its priced.

Ricoh needs to update its 645 lenses with faster, modern AF motors and coatings. Some of them need to be redesigned for high resolution sensors. If Ricoh doesn't get busy and Fuji invests in the GFX system like it did the X-mount, then I could see Fuji passing Ricoh by in medium format market share.

check out digitalrev fb livestream. very small compare to 645z.

<10k with 63mm 2.8 lens, and WR, this is very much a punch at 645z.
Not only this, they planned a 110mm f2 lens (can see the lens in the livestream) in 2017. There are more than 6 new MF lenses.

The price, the WR, and the fast MF prime (faster than 2.8), this camera is more attractive than the 645z.

I felt great for having a competition, but felt bad for Pentax, could have been the first to do MF mirrorless.

How did the sensor size compare with the 645Z? I didn't see it listed, but I just skimmed.

It looks like a 43.8 x 32.9 sensor.

Reading moe about the lenses they will release, looks like a 23mm will be one of them

Fujifilm makes their own sensors. And sounds like Fujifilm confirmed that this sensor was made by them as well. This will be interesting for sure

I am not sure about that.
All of their X mount cameras use a Sony sensor with the X-trans filter (as opposed to the Bayer sensor).

Fuji is using Sony sensors with their own color array and micro lenses. It is a modified Sony sensor just like the 36MP Sony sensor in the K-1.

Looks like Fuji will release 6 lenses over the next 18 months. Ricoh.... Are you paying attention? Fuji knows how to bring quality glass to market quickly.

One camera that I would make me go mirrorless would be a Cropped MF, Fuji might be onto something and if they keep including the faster lenses this will be something worth looking at and on my radar
