Nikon Coolpix A

Hi all,

Anyone have the Nikon Coolpix A? It's a 18.5 mm (28mm on FF) fixed lens with a D7000 sensor minus the AA filter. I just bought it refurbished for $390 and it retailed for $1099. Very nice camera!

Yeah, it's basically a GR at close to half the price. I'm surprised that it's fallen so low! Glad to hear you're enjoying it.

I like mine - not quite as ergonomically nice as the GR but takes great photos and is great value nowadays. Glad you're enjoying it.

I think it is 28mm equivalent and 18.5 actual. Very nice indeed.

Just as a heads up there is a firmware update for the AF. Per some reports, the AF is slow. I upgraded mine right away and I haven't seen anything slow about the AF.
