For this I used the 70-200 F4 along with the 50.F/1.8 reverse mount on it along with several extension tubes



I used a very similar setup to the above, only things that are changed was no 1.4 TC was used and I swapped the pentax 50 F1.7 with the Nikon 50 F1.8

If this is still setup, could you please search for the cause of the vertical line in the middle of the K-7 sensor?

I've read a theory that the K-7 sensor is made from two sensor modules joined in the middle.

I have look over the sensor and I don't see any line that would suggest this
If you could post an image with this line I might help

On the left you can see the stainless steel chassis that then mounts to the plastic mirror box and then the lens mount is screwed into the plastic mirror box.

One little titbit of useful information is that the stainless steel chassis really has no rigidity until it is mount to the plastic mirror box, the mirror box bears all of the load from the lens and its the mirror box that supplies the majority of the rigidity to the steel chassis

The first was I wanted to photograph the sensor.
secondly I wanted to see how the camera was put together, most importantly how it differed from how other companies put their cameras together. For the longest time it was believed that lens mount was anchored to the stainless steel chassis I also wanted to know how much of a role that steel chassis played in the construction of the camera.
