Mamiya 645 1000s Prism Latch Problem

I just noticed the prism latch on the left side isn't catching.
The regular view finder clicks on tight no problem.

I have no idea how long I've been walking around with the camera like this. Maybe years!
Is there a way to adjust the latches?
I know they get sloppy over time, allowing light to leak into the prism messing up the meter reading.
Mine seems to have gotten bent so that it's too tight on one side, preventing it from clicking in.

it sounds like it is the latch on the prism, rather than the body. I have just checked my M645, which is similar, but as it connects correctly, and still does since mid 1970s, I can't offer any advice !

You have it right. It's the latch in the prism housing.
I suppose the eyepiece ocular could use a cleaning.
Maybe ill just take it apart.

The only thing I'm worried about is the meter.
It's fragile looking and I made that mistake once on an OM-1
