Some animals

I think this was one of the first pictures I took with my V1

House sparrow

Flamingo

Heron

This was with a cheap adapted Canon FD zoom. 210 x 2.7 = 567mm ff eq. handheld. Helped that one can just fire off and choose the sharpest frames later

Tiger

This was with a close-up lens in front of the 30-110, I think +10 diopter?

Grasshopper

Since putting the camera in continuous shooting mode with electronic shutter doesn't do any harm, it was quite easy to setup the camera and hope for the best when it comes to lightning shots

Lightning

The 18.5/1.8 has really nice close focusing capabilites, illustrated by the following two pics

Lichen on a brick

No close up lens used for this shot

Before the wind came up and the sun had too much time, yesterday morning was a magical time for a walk.

Two rooms in a 19th century doll house. Individual pieces of furniture, a high-back chair for example, are about three inches (7~8cm) tall. The detailing of components in this miniature world was wonderful. Look at the painting of a standing woman on the right wall of the bedroom. It's the size of two postage stamps.

My latest purchase a Lumix ZS100.
A few sample shots at what it doesn't do well, telephoto. It's not that bad. 250mm FF equivalent, so maybe 180 APS_c. You need willing subjects for that.
