Very cool for those who have the hardware to support that size file. One might wonder about the noise characteristics of that many pixels on an APS-H sensor as well as the time to dump and process. Of course, this chip was announced several years ago.

I came across it and thought it was new, a very good application for security cams...unfortunately trouble happens from minor to major consequences.Something like this may help save lives.

Help them arrest someone after they finish processing the crime scene you mean? Not a fan of big brother but more about your neighbors watching out for each other.

Well,no...close surveyllance during an event could be helpful.

I've been involved a couple of times with clients submitting surveillance footage to police about vandals and the lack of resolution meant 'No prosecution.'
