I didn't know there was a converter until I just googled it just now I've seriously have never heard of anyone using them on the Sony. I didn't think there were any because all I hear in the Sony community is using Canon or Nikon lenses on the Sony E mount... Mostly Canon though. Actually, almost always Canon, lol.
So who has used the converter and how effective are they?

I use my collection of Pentax-M lenses on an A7 now, for their small size and ergonomics. I much prefer the A7 to dSLRs. I also use other (better) SLR lenses on the A7, but the size of the -M lenses makes them preferred.
I find the A7 an almost ideal digital MX.

Initial launch price here is about $2300 body kit plus 1 32GB card + 3 years Sony warranty and $2500 (Pre-order only) for body kit only and comes with a free OEM battery and (2) 1 UHS-1 32GB and 1 UHS-2 64GB cards.

This camera makes me want to stall buying either the Pentax KP or the K-1 and continue saving some more.

By the way, is there a good converter for Sony cameras using Pentax DA glasses? Thank you.

Yes, the original AF adapter is Techart Pro...its been copied by Fotodiox but they wont admit that....U$360/250 ...the TAP firmare updates the Fotodiox.

Both these adapters are standard with Leica M, so a M to K adapter and your DA glass will work.

Theres are other AF adapters for CaNik glass as well.

Sorry I am confused. The M to K adapter will work for Leica but for Sony do the have something that is reliable...thanks!

But, as wed7 specified DA lenses, the K to M adapter would need to have an adjustable aperture built into it, right?

... Or get one of these and just manually focus, which is super easy with the Sony mirrorless cameras.
