The Sony A7 series picture thread -- bring your base, S, and R pics here!

I know there's already a thread specifically for the R series. I thought about just making an A7 thread. But then we wouldn't want to leave out the S series owners, would we? Why not consolidate and put them all here?

Here's one I took today over lunch in my back garden.

I'll try to help keeping this thread going.

Thanks! I was using the new Sony 24-105. It takes 95% of my pictures, easily. I love that lens.

Lovely image of the burl grain. I stopped smoking decades ago but the one thing I have missed is the texture and color of the pipes. So much variety.

Just a few quick picks from my first outing with the little Samyang FE 35/2.8 (all SOOC, auto WB, "Portrait" setting with slight changes, settings in the filenames).
The Hamburg harbour front is a busy place on a Sunday morning, made me rather miss my old home...

I'm going have to go through the shots (~140) and pick a few to edit up but I was mostly just playing around with my new lens. The AF is quite noisy and tends to hunt in low light but during the day I have no issues with it.
Makes for a nice little kit with the FE85/1.8.

Hi, Boris, is the Samyang 35/2.8 has noise as loud as a Pentax screw drive?

Well, the screw drive noise depends on the lens but the Samyang is nowhere near as loud as the F35-70/3.5-4.5 (the only screw-drive lens I have left) on my K5. It's actually a bit quiter than the DC motor in the DA18-135, so not much of an issue. The FE85/1.8 is basically silent though, as are most Sony lenses (apart from e.g. the FE50/1.8).

Looks good! (as is to be expected from the Bokina)

How is the adapter coping with that rather heavy lens?
