Yes, that's what I was thinking. Given the size comparison I know of the K3 vs K1 and K1 vs D850, the new Nikon mirrorless should be about the size a of K3.

Lack of second SD is a show stopper. My K1 has two SD cards, that's why I won't buy this Nikon mirrorless. No, 450 AF point and 9 FPS and 45Mp dual gain sensor won't help, it's too less of an improvement :-)

Sure, however who got the money to buy a new system every other year..? I've spent 6 grands 2 years ago on a Pentax full frame system, I'm not going to redo it every two years and I guess a lot of people won't do it either. And look, if I want this Nikon mirrorless am I going to buy F mount glass now? Certainly not. Why would I buy F mount glass knowing that the Z mount will replace it. The only thing I could do, if the get old versions of Nikon F / Canon EF mount glass in order to limit the spending and then buy on of the mirrorless models, but that wouldn't be cheap. So, at the moment, I'm for waiting to see how the Nikon mirrorless system will deploy, and if Pentax offer a lower cost solution in the next couple of years I may still be better off staying with Pentax.

The Nikon Z is already listed at
Compare camera dimensions side by side
The Z7 is about the same height as the K3, 3mm longer than K3, and 10mm thinner than K3.
But camera size is one thing, the lens size is another thing, that's the total size of camera body + lens that matters.
