Yes,ive said that too..the bodies are in boxes ready to be shipped...production didnt start last week on launch day.

HOWEVER, Nikon have said "due to large preorders shipping of some units will be delayed"...Now,this could be a smoke screen.They may be buying time and no one gets their cameras at the announced date while the engineers fine tune the release firmware.

Thanks for posting that.

Both the Nikons and the Canon will be very good,new releases always attracts the nitpickers too.

Once they are out there being used by the consumer we will begin to learn their capabilities.

The Panasonic will be the interesting one though,so we know it will do moving pictures very well but will it be the 8K that Pano said they will have for Tokyo 2020?...I think its a safe guess.It could also be very capable stills shooter too,if you judge by what they did with the G9.

The Tokyo 2020 Olympics will most definitely have events not on the schedule; I'm more interested in seeing the tech coming out of Japan than the (politicized) sports at this point.

Yes,its interesting...it'll be hard to beat the diversity of late,and, theres a bit more to come.A surprise or 2 in a few weeks.
