Anybody Use Pentax Lenses (& adapter) on a Fuji GFX Medium Format Body?

.
I hear that Fuji will be coming out with a new, cheaper, medium format, GFX body soon. I expect that a few Pentaxians will consider getting one of these new bodies and using their K mount lenses on it (via adapter of course).

I just checked, and found that there are already various K to GFX adapters available (no optical glass in them). They are surprisingly short. Although currently, my favorite manufacturer of adapters (Novoflex) does not make such an adapter.

Some of my lenses are large/heavy. Unfortunately, none of the current crop of K to GFX adapters have a means for mounting the adapter onto a tripod/ballhead.

Just curious to hear if any of you have used a K mount lens on the current GFX body yet? If so, would love to hear about your experience (what lens?, vignette much?, balance?, who made the adapter? etc.)

Thanks,

I am curious about this as well. Considering the GFX uses the same size sensor as the 645D and Z, maybe the vignetting question could be answered by people adapting to that system.

The 50S Fuji has a crop mode(firmware update around March2018) so FF glass is totally compatible, some FF lenses will cover that sensor though.I havent seen the crop mode mentioned in 50R specs but its early days.

Why would you do that since they won't cover the image circle? It would be a lot cheaper to get a Sony mirrorless if you want to adapt your K mount lenses to a mirrorless camera.

The GFX 50R does look great, considering selling my other gear and buying it for sure but waiting for the proper reviews.
