I have the TG-4, and I think it does well up close and with macros but it wouldn't be my choice for landscapes. I haven't had a chance to use it under water yet. The previous (older model) Olympus Tough I had died after getting sand into the lens cover mechanism, but there's no such weakness with the newer models.
Oh, one great improvement with the TG-5 is that they use a
standard micro USB rather than the stupid non-standard needed for the TG-4. These cameras support raw, but I think it's only 10 bit. It might still give some more leeway in post. And it (the TG-5) actually supports 4kp30 video if that is of interest.
