Drones?

Does anyone utilize a drone?

I'm in the market for a starter kit and was looking at the Drone X Pro. They sell very cheap models that are equipped with 720 cameras for around the 99.00 mark. I hear they are manufactured in China and can be had for 40.00 but I have yet to locate one that cheap. I just want a cheap starter to get my feet wet with no worries of crashing the unit.

If anyone has other suggestions, I'm all ears.

thanks

This thread from a few months back has general advice about drones and, from memory,a later post mentions a cheaper drone option.

Thanks for the link, it was somewhat helpful.

Yes, I know all about the search function, but utilizing it does very little in getting me hands on reply's from users of drones, which is what I am after with this thread.

thanks again.

Hilarious YT video review concluding, "If you want something decent, this is not it . . ."

As a drone in that price range, i would recommend a Ryze Tell instead.

This guy shouldnt be watched,he isnt informed enough.he bought it because it looks like a DJI Phantom. You can conclude he married his wife because she looked like the Mona

Lisa(most famous female!)ha ha.

He watched "a couple of YTs"...he watched the wrong ones.A friend didnt watch any and bought the Drone X Pro, he now realised he got ripped off.

BUY the Eachine E58

Its the same drone but cheaper. The xPro is a clone marketing scam designed to dupe people.

Eachine E58 is a bang for buck device, flys well and captures OK footage.

Beginner/intermediate/advanced speeds....Hacks can extend its range 3x,bigger batteries give it a longer time in the air.

Their are many YTs to watch.

Thanks. I located a few in the 45.00 range with the battery, 58.00 with extra battery. it's a cheap drone, but from the research I have done, this unit fly's fairly well and will shoot good enough images to make it fun to learn on. It's exactly what i am in the market for.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Some more info

Theres 2 models, one with a weak camera and the 720p model(its the one i use).

The weak camera model flys the same but the camera is poor.

Also, for a beginner use the beginner speed(not intermediate or advanced) and start in still or very light winds. As flying becomes easier the higher speeds can be used.Beginner speed isnt slow, they others are fast and FASTER!
