I am quite intrigued with this camera. I think the FP paired with the newly released 85 1.4 from Sigma would be a nice compact FF option for portraits.

Welcome! That combo will weight 422 + 630 = 1,052 g (2.32 lb). But it should be kept in mind that Sigma fp practically does not have IBIS.

This YouTuber used this combo with solid results. Also considering the newly announced 65mm f2 as a smaller second lens.

From what I can see based off of examples the color science on the FP and the lowlight capabilities are very solid along with lots of dynamic range for editing.

Yes, looks great. Btw, Panasonic just releases a new lense 85/f1.8 which is even lighter. Comparison of two (mounted on Panasonic S5):

Interesting...something to think about if I bite the bullet and snag an FP. The lower price and the compactness of the Lumix is certainly attractive. In the end though if I can afford the Sigma I would probably go for that lens.

So I snagged a used FP on eBay for $1400 with a smallrig cage/grip and 2 extra batteries. Still waiting for the Sigma 65 f2 and the Lumix 85 f1.8 to get released as I think I am most interested in those 2 lenses. Hopefully the firmware updates have improved the AF for stills to the point where it won't be frustrating. Fingers crossed.

Well I got the camera yesterday but I don't have a lens yet. I preordered the Sigma 65mm f2 from Adorama but no clue when they'll get it in stock. Also considering the Lumix 85mm 1.8 but not sure when that'll release either. Updated the firmware and charged up the batteries though

Considering a K to L mount adapter to try out some of my Pentax lenses like the FA 43 and 31.

I received the K to L adapter today. Was messing around the FA 43 and the FA 85 on the FP. The focus peaking is useful but a little hard to see at times. Got impatient waiting for Lumix 85 and the the Sigma 65mm. Broke down and ordered the new Sigma 85 f1.4 for L mount. Should have it Friday or Saturday. I may or may not keep my preorder for the 65mm f2. Depends on how many paid shoots I get next week.
