Hello,

LesDMess: Sorry I missed this before. My workbench is a mess of tools and materials from different hobbies: Scale models, electronics, photography, cameras etc. But basically I use a set of JIS screwdrivers from eBay, an old compass as spanner wrench (but I just ordered a real spanner wrench tool), brushes, files, X-Acto knife, scissors, a Dremel, microfiber lens cleaning towels, tons of cotton swabs, 91% alcohol and white vinegar for really dirty surfaces. It all depends on what needs to be done. Other than the JIS set and the spanner, it is all mostly common household items.

Thanks,
Ismae
No worries and thanks for the follow up.
Good luck and good light with your shooting!

Wow she came up really well. Getting the prism out is not too bad on the OM1 if you ever want to do it. Congrats on getting her so beautiful.

Hello,

Thanks for the nice comments! I'm still halfway thru the test roll. Been very busy at work lately but I hope to finish it and send for processing by the weekend.

Thanks,

The pictures are in!

The negatives are on their way back but I just downloaded the scans and they look great! Can't wait to scan my own.

Amazing now well the lens came up. Show you how tough these old girls are though that she can still turn out sharp pictures after years of neglect.

OMG!

That is an awesome project. The before and afters are just wow. The OM-1 is worth it! I love mine; it's my primary film camera, and I basically get a hard on every time I use that gorgeous viewfinder lol
