Not much more than the previous DX-ii version. A friend of mine paid... 420€ a year and a half ago, and it was on sale on Amazon.de back then. MSRP in BnH is actually lower for the new version ($449 vs $499, although the older one is currently discounted to $379).
The new one looks so much more beautiful, honestly.

Only for lenses produced after not-sure-when in the 90s (the ones with in-lens AF motors). I have two screwdrive AF Tokinas in front of me and they sure don't have the clutch. Quick shift is sorely missed
