I know, I could join a Nikon forum, but I doubt I’d post there often. It seems like a simple question, but 30 minutes of web searching has revealed squat. All I’m wondering is if a Tamron 28-75 with the built in motor will function properly on my d70. Tamron’s website only lists much newer bodies. Does anybody here know?

Nikon Camera and Lens Compatibility Chart

The d70 works with all excerpt the oldest autofocus lenses. The ones that are listed as not working do not have internal motors. If the lens emulates any Nikon AF type it should work.
