SK brand logo on lens cap

I just picked up a bag of assorted lens caps and in among them is a metal cap with a logo I cant identify. The cap is the same style as a Leica tin cap but the impressed logo is S )|( K ........that weird thing in the middle is like a stylised lens diagram on the cap. I’ll try and get a pic up later.

I thought it may be Schneider but I cant any reference where they use that logo style. I can only wish for something valueable I can sell to justify go other half my obsession with old cameras somplease someone tell me its long lost lens cap from the mists of time and has the power to transport you to film nirvana

Could be Schneider-Kreuznach.

Stephen Grimes (commonly known as SK Grimes), Woonsocket, Rhode Island (USA), a specialist camera repair/machining and modifications shop. He has a long history of modifying and manufacturing parts for cameras and camera accessories. There is some inherent value in coming across anything bearing his stylised logo and it means some thought and planning has gone into producing that piece of equipment, even if it is a lens cap!

I dint think its either Schneider or SK Grimes, the logo doesnt match, it doesnt fit anything I have or am likley to buy so I am going to sling it on eBay for a tenner and see if it sells. It might be just what someone is looking for ...price ? I would happily pay a tenner to find a Tamron Adaptall lens cap for an Adaptall 1, old Tamron logo, in 67mm snap on cos I have OCD and need it for an old Tammy lens I have.

Not so long ago I forked out the same for a genuine Nikkor lens cap, pre Nikon, and promptly lost it. Some chancer on ebay is asking about £50 now for the same item

Schneider-Kreuznach redesigned their logo around 1998-2000 as the simple and elegant reverse horizontal line through an orbit with the name top and bottom.
Early Schneider-Kreuznach lens caps featured big and bold lettering. Some of these are highly sought-after as collectors' pieces for older LF lenses.

SK Grimes hasn't always had the freehand signature as his logo. Perhaps make contact with him to establish if the lens cap is a custom item from him?
