Comparing four Pentax MF lenses adapted to the Nikon Z7

Very interesting tests with surprising results !

As mentioned by others above I would have expected contemporary small format glass to outresolve vintage 67 glass.

I am very impressed with the 55mm f/4 67 and am using it (with the Fotodiox TLT ROKR on the Nikon Z7) to create panos in various orientations. I have the Nikon 19mm PC-E which works well on the Z7, but I am still looking for something in between, perhaps the Zeiss 40mm V lens, with an appropriate shift adapter. I am on the fence with the Pentax 67 45mm lens and not sure whether to persist with it. Will have to do some more shooting in "real-world' settings to decide.

I will shoot a single centre-of-the-frame comparison the 55 against the Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 S lens which is a somewhat better than the f/4 version and will post results here in a week or so.
