Not camera related, but I saw a piece on 60 minutes several years back about a Nike factory in Viet Nam, and vowed to never buy Nike gear. They treated those people over there like slaves. Sickening.... Apparently it cost them in the neighborhood of $6 to make Air Jordans, and they were selling them here for about $150.... My AMERICAN made New Balance are fine sneakers, and are much less expensive than Nikes.
