No...I just wanted to start a thread where we can speak about the fenomen "fanboy".

Who are they and why they become a fanboy!

Becasue of that my question was a little bit flumsy and not so clear asked. I want answers that can be just anything...

I see absolutely no point to this thread. It just seems to ridicule another that may have a strong attachment to thier camera system of choice. Everyone is welcome and I don't think singling out anyone as a "fanboy" serves a constructive purpose.

We have several shooters here that once owned Pentax and now shoot Canon or Nikon. Some shoot both Pentax and another brand. Who cares as long as they join in and add something to the forums. We can learn from shooters of other brands.

To me, fanboy is just a quasi derogatory remark that is often used for nothing more than to ridicule and attempt to end a debate by discrediting another. On top of that, it is sexist. What about the fangirls?

fangirls is a term usually used to describe otaku anime lovers who are usually into some sort of gay anime fetish. also usually a cosplayer.
