No brand wars!

Feel free to use this forum to compare Pentax to other brands, discuss switching bands, and discuss other brands in general. However, "brand wars" and pointless arguing are not tolerated.

...and I really wanted that lens in your avatar, but I guess my Canon substitute will do the job.

What about all those guys who've never touched a Pentax, don't want to, but just signed up to tell us how stupid we are for liking them?

lithos: I asked that question in the survey thread. D.B. responded, "We are the Mods, not them."

IOW, we have troll police.

After you try all the other cameras out there please feel free to repeat that statement, however if you haven`t please don`t
just kidding, I know that it was tongue in cheek... although it`s the way I feel.

I`ve had the chance to shoot Pentax, Sigma, Canon and Nikon for short periods professionally. Which still doesn`t give me the right to criticize any of them. They all have their good and bad points.
