37MP Leica S2 gives great detail

Saw this over at DP Review. Absolutely stunning!

Thanks, I always wanted to see a sample image of an MF camera.

Yes the detail is amazing. If I wanted to I bet I can count every lash in her eyes.

I know its not the point but that is too much detail for a portraits. She is kinda "hairy".

Portrait software vendors must love this one. Instant market.

Wow, that is really something viewed 100%! But is it actually "too much information" considering how one can count just about every facial hair, moustache and all!

That is spectacular detail.
Can there really ever be too much detail?
Granted we're all not going to be producing billboards or photo banners, but it's a joy to see them larger than life...

I'll never buy this camera...

If I took a photo showing face hair like that of my girlfriend she would kill me.

Better not to buy the camera.

All the best,

Luis

Have you found any other sample? I would love to see a landscape shot.

Cute and furry .... qualities I've always admired in cats, not women.

Looks like and amazing camera and I'm sure there is a good practical application for it somewhere but portraiture isn't its forte.
